Texas Hold'em baby steps
You can't play without knowing the rules and they're much easier than you think. Once you've got the rules down, you'll be able to play and possibly beat the best players in the world.
First Round:
After the blinds are posted, two pocket cards are dealt to each player and the first round of betting occurs. This betting is based on the two cards each player is holding. In the first round of Texas Holdem Poker betting, players can fold, bet, or raise.
Second Round:
In the second round, three community cards are dealt which is called the Flop. Betting will begin and players can either check, fold, call, or raise. You can only check if other players before you have not placed a bet.
Third Round:
In the third round, a fourth community card is deal which is called the Turn. Another round of betting follows in which a player can either check, fold, call, or raise.
Fourth Round:
In the fourth round, a fifth and final community card is dealt which is called the River. Final betting will follow and players then use their two pocket cards and the five community cards to create the best five-card hand possible.
The winner takes the pot.
