A Big hand For The Little Lady (1966)
Laredo is the place where five of the richest men in the territory gather to play a high stakes annual poker tournament.
Settlers Meredith, a recovering gambler along with his wife and son is on his way to San Antonio to purchase a house. A wheel of their wagon breaks and they have to halt at Laredo for some time.
On knowing about the high stakes poker tournament, Meredith buys into the game and as the game goes on loses most of his family savings. As the stakes get at higher and higher Meredith collapses.
In order to recover the family savings, Meredith's wife takes up his place at the table. But she dos not know how to play poker.
