California Split (1974)
Bill Denny and Charlie Walters come together due to their mutual love for gambling. Charle is experienced while Bill is still learning the tricks of the trade. As the two men start hnging out more, Bill gets addicted to gambling.
Bill gets into a debt with his bookie. They somehow manage to collect enough money to stake Bill in a poker tournament. Bill wins the poker game. But he does not stop and discoveres his winning streak. He plays blackjack, roulette and finally craps.
After cashing out, Bill is drained and almost pathetic. The two later split the money and venture along different paths.
