House Of Games (1987)
Dr. Margaret Ford is a best selling author and a psychiatrist. She specializes in addictive behavior. In one of her regular sessions she finds out from a patient that he has a gambling debt of $25,000.
Dr. Ford visits the pool hall called the house of games and confronts Mike who Billie owes $25,000. Mike agrees to relieve Billy of the debt. In return he wants Ford to accompany him to high stakes poker tournaments as his girlfriend and help him understand the body language of his opponents.
But poker is an unpredictable game and things end up going wrong for Dr. Ford.
