Doyle Brunson is up amongst the chip leaders in the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) main event. "Texas Dolly" showed all the class and experience he has gained through decades of WSOP experience by cruising through Day 2 to end in 6th place before Day 3 begins at mid-day, UK time, today.

CardPlayer editor Jeff Shulman is one of the nine players who will be returning to the final table for the WSOP Main event this November. To ready himself for the event, Shulman has hired Phil Hellmuth to be his poker coach. Hellmuth is a great choice for coaching Shulman as he has won eleven WSOP bracelets and has vast experience at the Main Event final table. Both have been friends for some time and have worked together on the business side of poker.

Doyle Brunson, a living legend of poker, has picked poker pro Chris Moorman as one of his ten handpicked pros to represent his poker room. Doyle is choosing ten young poker pros to revamp his site and start a new generation of poker pros. Moorman has good experience in the game of poker and has won over $1.6 million since he began his career.

The evidence keeps mounting that Capitol Hill is going to address the issue of internet gambling head-on.  Recently, a column from noted libertarian politician Bob Barr suggested that legislation clarifying the legal standing of internet gambling is on the horizon
